title pic If you want Designer TJMaxx Oak Brook

My tour of TJMaxx would not be complete without discussing Oak Brook. It is located next to the Nordstrom Rack which may explain why there is always an abundance of Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Juicy and other higher end purses on their racks. In fact I bought my favorite pink soft fabric Juicy Couture purse here last year for $75. I also found a clearance Coach purse with crazy patchwork quilt fabric and white leather trim for $45 – a mid-sized bag that I later returned to the Oswego TJMaxx – they don’t get coach often and the return clerk immediately put a hold tag on it for herself and stuffed it under the counter.

Not to mention the clothing.  I am not familiar with smaller, up and coming designer names – but they have them, and some of the tried and true like Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren, BCBG, Ed Hardy, Calvin Klein, Anne Klein, Nicole Miller and more.  I was shocked when I checked the tag on a cute little colorful A Frame Skirt to see that it was $250, marked down from $750 retail originally – I could not tell you who the designer was on this, not a name I instantly recognized though.

This store gets a steady influx of top of the line merchandise including shoes – Franco Sarto, Chinese Laundry, Via Spiga, Cole Haan and Steve Madden.  Once in a while they have a pair of Coach shoes come in as well and there is always a steady stream of some killer boots.

I can not get excited though about their lingerie department, it never seems to be stocked with what I need and they seem to have only one or two off panties – so if I find something I like, it isn’t in my size.

They have a fairly full line of perfumes and bath products at any time as well, though you can sometimes get better deals on the more popular fragrances at Perfumania and online.
